First, allow me to apologize for not putting up a Friday Freebie this weekend. I was sick for part of the week and then I was busy catching up on what didn’t get done when I was sick so time just slipped away. I promise to make it up to you though.
I also spent Friday night at the Taylor Swift concert with my two daughters. Loved, loved, loved the show! The train ride home … not so much. Long story short, the train has the seating capacity of 160. There were – no exaggeration – at least 250 people on it. We were crushed together so tightly we couldn’t move. We were located just inside the doors and I was fine … until the doors closed about 5 minutes later. Then my claustrophobia got the better of me, I had a full blown panic attack and pretty much fainted. I didn't fall down though because there was no room ... I just remember saying that I needed to sit down. Somehow, people all around me managed to squeeze me through to a seat that someone else gave up for me. I was dripping with sweat and I think I must have looked pretty bad because I remember one guy asking my daughter if I had any medical issues. The poor girls were terrified but after sitting for a while I started feeling a little bit better. It was a long ride back but we finally made it to our destination.
Something else I spent my weekend doing was creating some Father’s Day cards – one for my father-in-law and one for my husband. Take a look …
Card #1:
In this example, I used the same image 4 times at different sizes then layered them on top of each other using pop dots.
Card #2:
In this example, I used the same image 4 times but cropped each image so that it appeared as one scene when I layered them. If you look closely you can see that the tree on the top left is one complete tree but on 4 separate layers. It’s hard to explain but I hope you understand what I’m trying to say.
Thanks for stopping by.
