100 in 100 Challenge–Card #22

It’s been an interesting day with all the weather patterns we have going on around us.  Storm seems to be hitting everyone BUT us .. and we need the rain!!

I mentioned yesterday that I had a card to share with you.  I’m still learning how to use my copics.  I have the hardest time trying to figure out where the shadow should be.  This makes card #22 out of 100 for the challenge.

Enjoy.

  1. I always have the hardest time working out where the shadow should be too. Looks like you cracked it though - great card!

    1. Thanks, Kay. I don't know about cracking it yet, though. I look at this card and see that I have the light on the top of her pants but a shadow on the top of her shirt, lol. I was just watching a video and the person put a pair of scissors (or you could use any object, really) at the angle the sun would be shining down from. I thought that was a great idea.

  3. Thanks, Patti. I need to invest in some more colors. Maybe for my birthday in September :-D

  4. I think you did a great job on your shading. I always think about where the sun would be if it were shining on my image and then darken the area under a fold, or where a shadow would be falling from the sun. I love my copics and know you will grow to love them too.
