100 in 100 Challenge–Card #18

I finally had a chance to create this card for Crafters of Faith .. a splitcoasters group I belong to. It’s a little late and it doesn’t have all the required elements but it has a few (sun, blue, something popped up).  I work as an accounts administrator in a local high school so I’ve been pretty busy this past month trying to make sure everything was finished before the end of our school year which was yesterday.  School’s out for the summer, however, I still have to work … there just won’t be any kids or teachers around to bug me, lol.   Enjoy the rest of your Saturday.

I’m entering this card in the following challenges:

  6. Ok, so it looks like I have a confession to make, lol. While I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to take credit for the stitching on the card, I can't because it's faux...it's just part of the image on the paper. It's not even real thread, lol. I've probably just done myself in for winning any kind of challenge with this card but, oh well, my integrity is much more important to me.

Thanks, everyone! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

  9. Having done much embroidery in my life, I just loved the way you incorporated this into your lovely card, even if it is faux. I am loving the use of your felt pieces too. This would have also qualified for the TLC challenge this week on SCS with its radial pattern.

    2. I found it. Not sure if it's too late to get in on it and not sure if I entered it properly but I have nothing to lose for trying. Thanks for the heads-up.
